Dermus Ointment 0.03%

ডার্মুস (জেনেরিক: ট্যাক্রোলিমাস মনোহাইড্রেট) হল ইবনে সিনা ফার্মাসিউটিক্যালস লিমিটেড প্রস্তুতকৃত ০.০৩% শক্তির একটি অয়েন্টমেন্ট, যার ইউনিট মূল্য ৳১৫০.০০। মাঝারি থেকে তীব্র এটোপিক ডার্মাটাইটিসের চিকিৎসায় ব্যবহৃত এই ঔষধটি ক্যালসিনিউরিন প্রতিরোধের মাধ্যমে প্রদাহ কমায়। আক্রান্ত স্থানে দিনে দুইবার পাতলা করে মালিশ করতে হবে, লক্ষণ কমার পরও এক সপ্তাহ ব্যবহার চালিয়ে যেতে হবে। ৩০°সে.-এর নিচে, আলো ও শিশুদের নাগালের বাইরে সংরক্ষণ করুন। এই অয়েন্টমেন্ট ক্রনিক গ্রাফ্ট-ভার্সেস-হোস্ট ডিজিজ, ভিটিলিগো, সোরিয়াসিস এবং স্টেরয়েড-প্ররোচিত রোসেসিয়ার চিকিৎসায়ও ব্যবহারযোগ্য। টি-কোষ সক্রিয়করণ বন্ধ করে প্রদাহ নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে। সংবেদনশীল ত্বক বা সংক্রমণ থাকলে এড়িয়ে চলুন। পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার মধ্যে জ্বালা, চুলকানি ও লালভাব দেখা দিতে পারে। বয়স্করা (৬৫+ বছর) প্রাপ্তবয়স্কদের মতো পার্শ্বপ্রতিক্রিয়ার সম্মুখীন হন। শিশুদের ক্ষেত্রে ২ বছর বয়সে ০.০৩% এবং ১৬ বছর বয়সে ০.১% ব্যবহার করুন। ইরাইথ্রোমাইসিনের সাথে ব্যবহার এড়িয়ে চলুন। গর্ভাবস্থায় সতর্কতা প্রয়োজন; স্তন্যদানকালে চিকিৎসকের পরামর্শ নিন। অতিরিক্ত ব্যবহারে বিষক্রিয়া সম্ভাব্য। ইমিউনোমডুলেটর শ্রেণীর এই ঔষধ ডাক্তারি তত্ত্বাবধানে ব্যবহার করুন।

Use in adults: Apply a thin layer of Tacrolimus ointment onto the affected skin areas twice daily and rub in gently and completely. Treatment should be continued for one week after clearing of signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis. The safety of Tacrolim ointment under occlusion which may promote systemic exposure has not been evaluated. Tacrolimus ointment should not be used with occlusive dressings.

Use in Children:

• Tacrolimus 0.03% ointment can be used in pediatric patients 2 years of age and older.
• Tacrolimus 0.1% ointment can be used in children 16 years of age and older.

Use in Elderly Patients: Patients >65 years old received Tacrolimus ointment in phase 3 studies. The adverse event profile for these patients was consistent with that for other adult patients.

Topically applied Dermus ointment have very few and rare type of side-effects including skin burning, pruritus, flu-like symptoms, allergic reactions, skin erythema, skin infections, headache, etc.

Pregnancy Category C. There are no adequate and well-controlled studies of topically administered Tacrolimus in pregnant women. Although systemic absorption of Tacrolimus following topical applications of Tacrolimus ointment is minimal relative to systemic administration, it is known that Tacrolimus is excreted in human milk. Because of the potential for serious adverse reactions in nursing infants from Tacrolimus, a decision should be made whether to discontinue nursing or to discontinue the drug, taking into account the importance of the drug to the mother.

Cautions should be exercised while treatment with Dermus ointment in patients with atopic dermatitis predisposed to superficial skin infections. The safety of Dermus ointment has not been established in patients with generalized erythroderma.

Dermus ointment is not for oral use. Accidental oral ingestion of Dermus ointment may lead to adverse effects associated with systemic administration of Dermus. If oral ingestion occurs, medical advice should be sought.
